Terms of Use

This is an English translation, provided for convenience. If it differs in any way from the Portuguese version, the Portuguese version prevails.

These terms explain the rules for using Boa Vista Farm. We wrote them in plain language; if anything is unclear, contact us through the support center or by email at contato@boavistafarm.com.br.

1. About these terms

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of Boa Vista Farm, a farming game for web browsers available at boavistafarm.com.br (the “Game”), offered by Paulo Roberto Appolinario Alonso (CPF No. 452.723.298-30) (“we”).

By creating an account or playing, you agree to these terms and to the Village Rules. When you buy gems, the Gem Purchase Terms and the Electronic Acceptance also apply. The Privacy Policy explains how we process your personal data.

If you do not agree with any part of these terms, do not use the Game.

2. Who can play

The Game is free and made for a general audience. To play online you need to create an account, with Google or with an email address, according to the options available on the home page.

Children and adolescents must play with the knowledge and supervision of their parents or legal guardians. The account of a child under 12 must be created by a legal guardian.

Gem purchases by minors under 18 require the authorization of their parents or guardians, as the Gem Purchase Terms explain.

3. Your account

Your account is personal and non-transferable. Keep your access secure, do not share passwords or sessions, and sign out on shared devices.

Let us know through the support center or by email at contato@boavistafarm.com.br as soon as you suspect any misuse of your account.

Your username and avatar appear in the Game. Do not use names that are offensive, that imitate other people or that expose personal data.

You can ask for your account to be closed at any time through the support center or by email at contato@boavistafarm.com.br. The Privacy Policy explains what happens to your data.

4. License to use

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable license to use the Game for entertainment, not for commercial purposes. This license may only be revoked in the cases provided for in these terms.

The Game, its code, texts, trademarks and interface belong to their respective owners. The pixel art is used under license from RareOnion, and the sounds follow the licenses listed on the credits page. You may not copy, extract, modify, resell or distribute this content outside the Game.

5. Virtual items and progress

Coins, gems, seeds, animals, buildings, decorations and all other items in the Game are virtual items: a license to use them within the Game, not property. They have no cash value outside the Game, earn no returns and cannot be converted into money, transferred to another account or sold.

We may adjust the balance of the Game, such as prices in Game coins, times and rewards, to keep it fair and fun. Increases in the gem price of items already on sale will be announced in the Game at least 7 days in advance.

We will not reduce the number of purchased gems already credited to your account, except in case of an improper credit (for example, a duplicate one), fraud, a refund or a payment reversal.

Resources obtained through bugs, cheating or unauthorized automation may be removed.

6. Conduct

You agree to follow the Village Rules, which prohibit cheating, automation, exploiting bugs, attacks on the service, trading accounts or items for money, and abusive behavior.

7. Availability and changes to the Game

We work to keep the Game online at all times, but it may go through maintenance, updates and periods of instability. Whenever possible, we will give advance notice of scheduled interruptions.

We may add, change or remove features. If the Game is shut down for good, we will give at least 30 days' notice and will suspend gem sales at the time of the notice. The Gem Purchase Terms explain what happens to purchased gems that have not been used.

8. Suspension and closure of accounts

If these terms or the Village Rules are violated, we may apply measures proportional to the severity: a warning, removal of resources obtained improperly, a block on purchases, temporary suspension or closure of the account.

We will tell you the measure and the reason, and you can ask for a review through the support center or by email at contato@boavistafarm.com.br.

9. Liability

We are liable for the damage we cause, as provided by law, including Brazil's Consumer Protection Code (CDC, Law No. 8,078/1990).

We are not liable for failures caused solely by you or by third parties who take no part in offering the Game, such as problems with your connection, your device or your browser.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version in force is always on this page, with its version number and date. We will announce relevant changes in the Game with reasonable advance notice, and a new acceptance will be requested before your next gem purchase.

11. Contact, governing law and venue

Boa Vista Farm is offered by Paulo Roberto Appolinario Alonso, CPF No. 452.723.298-30, located at Moacyr Biguetti, 41, Park Real, Indaiatuba - SP. Customer service: contato@boavistafarm.com.br or the support center.

These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. The courts of the consumer's domicile (place of residence) are chosen as the venue, in accordance with the Consumer Protection Code.
